Home & Office Item Sales

Most of us accumulate more household and office items than we will ever use, resulting in overwhelming clutter. We will personally visit your home or office, work with you to identify items you'd like to sell, create a manifest of all the items, remove them and market them for sale. Typically our clients receive proceeds within 14 days.

Our objective is to minimize landfill while placing reusable products into the hands of those with the most need. We are also very interested in the community and work with developers to donate a portion of the proceeds directly to the charity or non-profit of their choice providing the least amount of administrative costs to the charity.

Pre-demolition Sales

Through relationships with area developers, we evaluate properties to determine the marketability of fixtures remaining in a house slated for demolition. Provided the fixtures, such as cabinetry, hardwoods, appliances, doors, windows, HVAC, etc., are valuable, we market the to our established network of individuals interested in purchasing and removing the items for recycle or reuse.

House demolition and salvage

Fortunes Found, Inc. has partnered with Dilworth Construction Company. Dilworth Construction Company provides our clients with the most comprehensive salvage system in the Carolinas.

If a house is of sound construction, it won't be demolished, it will be deconstructed and most of the building materials will be salvaged for re-use. This includes hardwood floors, wood construction materials, roof tiles, drywall, insulation, copper, electrical, brick and any items of value we could not sell as a result of our pre-demolition sale.

House relocation

Among the many capabilities of Dilworth Construction Company is house relocation. In some instances it is financially advantageous to move a house to another property instead of resorting to demolition. Dilworth Construction Company affords developers another financially viable alternative to demolition.
